CHESKO & MANNO present: "BUTTERFLIES"

We asked Chesko and Manno for some information about their "Butterflies" and here's what he told us!

First of all the song is wonderful, it has an amazing sound and Manno's voice is incredible.

Do you wanna tell us something about how this song came to life?

Chesko: We have been working together this past year as I have been producing some songs for his own project but we decided that it would be cool to release a song as a collab too. This is one of the first, if not the first, songs we worked on together and we thought the blend of styles (edm and pop) was a cool way of collaboration.

Who wrote the lyrics and what inspired you while producing it?

Manno was the one who wrote the lyrics and I was the one who was in charge of the production mainly even though he also did some stuff on that part too. The part that represents my style the most are the drops with that characteristic future bass style and when you add Manno’s vocals on top you get a really interesting combination.

What does it mean for you to have "Butterflies" pouring out, as you say in the refrain of the song?

I think it’s one of the most special signs of love and it’s something I have been experiencing for the last year and continue to do so, as when the song was being written was the time that I was falling in love with my girlfriend.

Will there be any other project with Manno since you make a perfect duo? And what about other projects of yours?

There are some songs I have produced with him for his project that are already out and there are some that will be released soon too.

Hello! Since it's the first time we have you on our blog, introduce yourself and your music. Hello! My name is Manno and I am a singer/producer/writer/artist born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I am an ex-professional baseball player (Washington Nationals and Cincinnati Reds) who quit baseball to chase my dream in music. What did you enjoy the most about this collaboration with Chesko?

Chesko and I work amazingly well together. To be honest, collaboration compatibility is just something that can not be forced. Chesko and I from day 1 were musically on the same page and challenged each other in a positive way every step. So not only do I believe we make great music together but I also know that both of us walk away as improved artist’s every time we work together! What inspired you to write "Butterflies"?

“Butterflies” follows the story of the internal electricity created from love, inspired by those nights of euphoria, in which the only thing one can see and feel is that other person. The title “Butterflies” not only covers the figurative feeling of excitement and energy but also represents a visual representation of the beauty and grace of a butterfly. I've always written with a visual in the back of my head and the cover art that I created for “Butterflies” is the perfect representation of this track! Would you like to explore more genres in the future?

Personally I have and am doing almost every genre. I grew up listening and loving way too much music to box myself into one particular area. From soul, pop, rap, edm, and even reggaeton, I currently have a project in almost all genres! Is there any other project you're working on?

YES!!!! I am currently working on a tremendous amount of music that will be released in the near future. I will be releasing at least a song a month for the foreseeable future along with a full length solo album some time at the end of this year!!!!

Во-первых, песня прекрасна, у нее потрясающее звучание, а голос Манно невероятен. Не

хочешь рассказать нам что-нибудь о том, как эта песня появилась на свет?

Ческо: В прошлом году мы работали вместе, так как я продюсировал несколько песен для

его собственного проекта, но мы решили, что было бы круто выпустить песню в качестве

коллаборации. Это одна из первых, если не первая песня, над которой мы работали

вместе, и мы думали, что сочетание стилей (edm и pop) было отличным способом

сотрудничества.

Кто написал текст и что вдохновило вас во время его создания?

Манно был тем, кто написал текст, а я был тем, кто в основном отвечал за

продюсирование, хотя он также делал некоторые вещи и в этой части. Часть, которая

больше всего отражает мой стиль, – это капли с характерным будущим басовым стилем, и

когда вы добавляете вокал Манно поверх, вы получаете действительно интересную

комбинацию.

песне?

Я думаю, что это один из самых особенных знаков любви, и это то, что я испытывал в

течение последнего года и продолжаю испытывать, потому что когда писалась песня, это

было время, когда я влюбился в свою девушку.

Будет ли какой-нибудь другой проект с Манно, если вы составите идеальный дуэт? А как

насчет других ваших проектов?

Привет! Меня зовут Манно, я певец / продюсер / писатель / художник, родившийся и

выросший в Бруклине, Нью-Йорк. Я бывший профессиональный бейсболист (Washington

Nationals и Cincinnati Reds), который бросил бейсбол, чтобы осуществить свою мечту в

музыке.

Что тебе больше всего понравилось в этом сотрудничестве с Ческо?

Мы с Ческо прекрасно работаем вместе. Если честно, совместимость совместной работы –

это просто то, к чему нельзя принуждать. Мы с Ческо с первого дня музыкально были на

одной волне и на каждом шагу положительно бросали друг другу вызов. Так что я не

только верю, что мы создаем отличную музыку вместе, но я также знаю, что мы оба

уходим как лучшие исполнители каждый раз, когда работаем вместе!

Что вдохновило тебя на написание “Butterflies”?

“Butterflies” рассказывает историю внутреннего электричества, созданного любовью,

вдохновленного ночами эйфории, когда единственное, что можно увидеть и

почувствовать, – это того другого человека. Название “Butterfly” не только передает

образное ощущение возбуждения и энергии, но и представляет собой визуальное

представление красоты и грации бабочки. Я всегда писал с визуальным эффектом, и

обложка, которую я создал для “Butterflies”, является идеальным представлением этого

трека!

Хотел бы ты изучать больше жанров в будущем?

Лично я занимаюсь почти всеми жанрами. Я вырос, слушая и любя слишком много

музыки, чтобы запереть себя в одной конкретной области. От соула, поп, рэпа, edm и даже

реггетона у меня сейчас есть проекты практически во всех жанрах!

Ты работаешь над каким-нибудь другим проектом?

ДА!!!! В настоящее время я работаю над огромным количеством музыки, которая будет

выпущена в ближайшем будущем. В обозримом будущем я буду выпускать как минимум

по одной песне в месяц вместе с полноформатным сольным альбомом где-то в конце этого

года!!!!
